The founders of Emma were preparing articles for the expert press over the weekend about what the first experiences with Emma's virtual nurse are like.

Emmy creators couldn't believe their own eyes

They had the statistics from the first week of 2021 viewed and embarked on their analysis. They could hardly believe the results. Emmy worked at this time for barely three weeks, and on average for the first three surgeries they found that:

  • The average number of Emmys patients 33 requirements per office and working day
  • patients via the Emmys themselves established 82% of all requests processed by medical offices during a given week
  • Patients were able to choose correct type of request in 79% of cases
  • patients negotiated the deadline by themselves using the smart ordering function in the case 64% of all dates Ordered to the doctor

Timothy Young, co-founder of Emmy, said: “I had to repeat the calculations, the first time I couldn't believe the results. Then I had to ask the doctors if this was even possible. We have had an elaborate online ordering system in our family practice since 2013, in which about 75% of our patients have an account, and yet we were able to process only 27% of the booked appointments online within one week... In contrast, Emmy works for 3 weeks and patients were able to order themselves in 64% of cases. I didn't even dream of that!”

In the first month of its existence, Emmy processed 2,935 requests, sent 3852 messages and 6134 notifications to patients (323 per working day). A total of 2326 patients established access to Emma.
