Real-life experiences of doctors with Emmy

“I have 3 surgeries in a small town and surrounding villages. More than half of the patients are over 50. They quickly got used to the change, sending 80% of requests through the Emmy.

Thanks to this, I no longer get distracted by constant phone calls. I can focus on the patient in front of me and not risk making a mistake out of inattention.”

general practitioner in Olšovec and Potštát

Emmy already save time in more than 400 surgeries

It helps doctors in cities and in the countryside.

How Emmy can help

Daily up to 1.5 hours extra

You know it -- the phone rings, notes on paper and then transcribe to the computer. With Emmy, it falls away: the patient writes everything down in Emma, and you just transfer them to the decourse.

Peace of mind and time for patients

The phone stops ringing continuously and you finally have time for uninterrupted care of the patient sitting in front of you.

Not looking for another nurse

The Emmy for a fraction of the price will hold another nurse's job half time.

More performance for the insurance company

Emmy collects patients' requests, your nurse has time for expert performances and surgeries to earn more.

Satisfied patients

Patients appreciate that they order via the Internet for a specific time and do not go to competitors who offer this service.

Elderly patients are called

Phone lines will be released, so elderly patients without internet will reach you well.

Control over the operating time

You decide who can order and in what time block.

Advance payments

If a patient requests a paid performance, Emmy wants them to pay online upfront. Once you have the money in the account, you begin to deal with his request.

Protection against cyberattacks

Email is not good for communicating with patients — it is easy for even a skilled layman to hack into it. Communication through the Emmy is much safer.

How the Emmy work

We will show this on the model example of the patient Luke, who needs a certificate of medical fitness for the employer.

The patient

The surgery

Lukáš opens Emmy's internet portal on his computer or mobile phone and logs into it.

Arrow left

From the menu, he selects that he needs a check-up for employment as a registered patient.

Inserts a missed application from the employer and sends it.

Nurse opens up to Emmy and starts making new demands.

She checks if Luke's work falls into Category 1 and a female doctor can examine him.

Everything fits, which is why it clicks in the Emmy that Lukáš can choose the term. The doctor has already arranged in advance that she needs fifteen minutes for the work examinations, so Lukáš will automatically be offered appointments of this length.

Luke receives an email from Emmy telling him to book an appointment. He signs up and chooses next Tuesday at 10.15am.

Two days before the examination, he receives an automatic reminder sms from Emmy.

The doctor comes to work on Tuesday. By ordering on time, patients follow her well.

Lukáš is in the waiting room at 10.10 and in five minutes he goes to his turn.

The doctor is already ready for him, having read in advance what the employer needs and immediately embarks on the examination.

What would happen if the doctor didn't use Emmy?

  • NO

Luke would phone the doctor to make an appointment. The nurse would have to interrupt the work, find out all the information from him, and then search for a suitable term with him for a long time.

  • NO

On the appointed day, Luke could come to the office without a request from the employer. The doctor would have to send him home because she would not know what category his work falls into and if he can perform the examination as a registered practitioner.

  • NO

Or Luke would bring the request, but the doctor would find out from it that it falls into category 2 and higher, so she can't examine him anyway.

  • YES

Thanks to Emmay, the office has an application from the employer in advance and checks in time if he can order the patient.

What Emmy looks like

The public profile of the practice in Emmy serves as a medical calling card. Patients will see basic information about your practice even without having to sign up. The office's public website is included in all tarifs. After logging in to Emma from the clinic profile, patients will go straight to your office without the need for further selection.
The patient signs up to Emma and chooses what she needs to deal with you.
Subsequently, the patient is shown a questionnaire in which he enters the details. Thanks to this, you have all the necessary information to handle his request and you do not need to call him to specify which medicine he needs a prescription for and which number to send it to.

TIP: Register to Emmy for patients and see how easy it is to use. Click through different clinics and get inspired by their requests and patient questionnaires.
As doctors in Emmy, for example, you see the layout of your doctor's office hours. You do not need to fit into any “huts”, you set the deadlines arbitrarily with an accuracy of minutes.
This is how you see the patient card in the Emmy. On the left you have a history of his requests.
Emmy can be tailored to your requirements.

Emmy were developed by doctors for doctors

“A constantly shredding phone and a cluttered email — there was so much that The nurses in our offices were not able to. We started thinking we'd have to hire more reinforcements. But is it really necessary? After all, the nurse spends a large part of the day ordering patients endlessly and reminding them that they go on an empty stomach. No special qualifications are needed for this. We thought that an automatic machine could do it, and the nurse would have time for professional work.

About our idea, we They talked to other doctors. and we found out they had the same problem. We teamed up with four other surgeries and wrote down what we needed for a virtual nurse to do.

After that, we join the team invited experienced developers and together they created Emmy—a virtual nurse that every office can afford and who takes care of routine communication with patients.

Thanks to her, we and other doctors and nurses who use Emmy, More time and peace to work. “

What should I do if the nurse is against the introduction of Emmy?

Find out why your sister is resisting the introduction of Emmay. Some nurses are worried that Emmy will replace them. This is an unnecessary worry. The software handles only routine communication, for everything else you still need a nurse and you definitely can't do without her in the office.

Others are afraid they can't handle computer work. But if a nurse can send emails, she can handle working with the Emmys, too. We will gladly train her and show everything.
And if she does not know the advice later, all she has to do is call customer support and we will advise her.

Explanation may not work. It can be difficult for a nurse to imagine how much work will save both her and you Emmy. You may have to stand by yours and introduce Emmy, even if your employees aren't very enthusiastic about it. But even that belongs to business. In order for a practice to thrive, you sometimes have to make unpopular changes, which later pay off handsomely, and even the staff will understand in retrospect that they made sense.

MUDr. Karla Hladíková. Her sister could only handle basic computer control, and when she learned they were going to start using Emmys in the practice, she was worried about it. But in a fortnight she has become so used to the Emmys that she can no longer imagine how she could have functioned without her. Read more in This case study.

How long does it take to deploy an Emmy?

If you decide you want an Emmy, we will remotely deploy the system for you in approximately one hour. Emmy is ready to function in any office. Thanks to this, you do not have to set it up for a long time and even create your own questionnaires for patients or texts of answers. It is enough to choose the appropriate ones from a selection of pre-prepared questionnaires and phrases and you can immediately use the system to communicate with patients.

What kind of customer support do you provide?

If you are unsure about something, you can send us a question directly via Emmy. Or call us at 222 360 060 on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. This customer support is already included in the Emmy Award.

Should your patients have a problem controlling Emma, they can call the same line and we will be happy to advise them.

How secure is data in Emmy?

All data is stored in professional data centers on secure servers where no one else can access it. While hackers would get into your computer easily, the data center has advanced professional protection.

Do I need to write a special consent with patients for the handling of personal data?

No, you don't need any new consent. details you can find here.
